Acceptable use

  • Use GenPay only for lawful merchant payment, checkout, catalog, invoicing, subscription, and customer support workflows.
  • Do not use the product in ways that violate card network rules, Stripe requirements, app marketplace rules, or local law.
  • You are responsible for keeping your merchant identity, pricing, taxes, refund policies, and checkout disclosures accurate.

  • GenPay works alongside Stripe and other supporting services, which may have their own terms, pricing, hardware rules, and regional availability limits.
  • Stripe processing fees, payout timing, reader availability, dispute handling, and processor compliance obligations are separate from GenPay platform fees.
  • GenPay may link to third-party documentation and hosted checkout resources for merchant convenience.

  • Merchants are responsible for compatible devices, supported readers, connectivity, and secure handling of business hardware.
  • Reader support, Tap to Pay eligibility, kiosk behavior, and customer-facing checkout flows can vary by device, build, country, and account setup.
  • You should test your real deployment environment before live selling, especially for hardware, tax, and self-service flows.
